About
Hi, I'm Ann Marie Leist.
I’m a licensed psychologist, a mother, and someone who understands the deep exhaustion of trying to hold it all together when everything feels like too much.
I started this work because of what I’ve experienced in my own life. Having a family member with ADHD and learning differences showed me just how much is often misunderstood, and how much people are quietly carrying. I’ve seen firsthand how hard it is to find support that feels both compassionate and practical. That’s what I offer now in my practice.
Many of the folks I work with are intelligent, capable adults who feel like they’re constantly underperforming, even though they’re doing everything they can. They describe themselves as exhausted, unmotivated, anxious, or stuck. Often, ADHD is part of the picture—but it hasn’t been named or supported in a way that actually works for them.
Together, we slow things down. We explore what’s getting in the way. We build emotional tools, executive functioning skills, and self-understanding, so life starts to feel a little less overwhelming and a lot more manageable.
If you're ready for a therapist who sees the whole picture and works with you to create a plan that fits your real life, I’d love to connect.
